Landforms are what makes up the various surfaces of the planet. They are currently formed by additions or subductions to the tectonic plates or by volcanic actions.

You all did a great job on your landforms! If a beach counts as a landform, then it is my favorite. If it's not really a landform, then I'll pick the ocean. I love to walk along the beach and listen to the waves. I also like to snorkel in the ocean and look at the cool fish that you can't always see from the surface.

We loved looking at the landforms. Landforms are formed by deposition, erosion, or the shifting of tectonic plates. A few others I thought of are cliffs, dunes, and isthmuses (narrow strip of land connecting two larger land masses). My favorite would probably be cliffs (specifically the White Cliffs of Dover and the Cliffs of Moher) primarily for their beauty. I can't wait to see what you work on next!

The landforms are just awesome. The kids did an excellent job. They look so real. My favorite is the island because they are beautiful to visit. Thank you so much class for information that I have forgotten about over the years and that is how some landforms are made.
