We had a Jersey Day in Math last week! Jersey Day means that we wore shirts that have numbers on them to use during Math. The first thing we did was put ourselves in order from smallest to greatest. Then we sorted our numbers into odd and even numbers. We compared numbers using "greater than," "less than," and "equal to." We created addition and subtraction sentences by adding or subtracting 1 or 10. Finally, we created number sentences using only numbers from our shirts. It was a fun math activity!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Holliday's Class
