Y.A.W. stands for Youth Art Week. We celebrated Youth Art Week this week! Every day on the announcements there is a new artist that they give facts about. They all use hearts in their artwork. In Art class, we take a break on our project to make a school project. We had paper hearts and put them on paper. Then we decorated the background with sharpies and color pencils. Then we took off the hearts and tape. It left blank spaces in the shape of hearts on our paper! We have to wear special things on our clothes each day, such as primary colors, secondary colors and mono-chrome. There is a mini art museum. The mini art museum has the most famous drawings of the artists that we have learned about. Each day they ask a question and we have to look in the mini art museum to answer it. These are the ways we celebrated Youth Art Week.
Sincerely,
Mac, Lauren, and Parker
