This week we learned about Schema. We brainstormed what we thought Schema was and what we remembered about Schema from First Grade. Check out the Lino we created online! The students worked with partners to post their thoughts on www.linoit.com. We loved using this tool, and we will use it more in the future! You can see the full lino post by going to the "Lino Posts" page on our website. What do you think schema is? Do you use schema when you read a book? Did you learn about schema when you were in school?

To me, SCHEMA is a type of disciplined thinking a person uses while receiving information, no matter what the source. I do use SCHEMA when I read. I did not learn SCHEMA when I was in school, you children are so lucky to have Miss Young as your teacher!
