Dear Readers,
We did a project and it was the Force and Motion Fair. We were learning about force and motion in Second Grade, so we learned about scientific words with force and motion. We used what we learned to make games that used force and motion and had a fair. Here are some of the games we made.
The first game was the Marble Maze. It's where you use your hand to move the box to move the marbles to get to the finish. The second game was Guess the Cup. What you do is the group switches the cups around and you guess the cup the ball is under. The third one is the Magnet Maze. What you do is put one magnet on top. Put the other one on the bottom. Then you drag it. Those are a few Force and Motion Fair games. We invited parents and first graders to our fair and gave them tickets to play all the games. It was fun, exciting and awesome!
Sincerely,
Miles, Olivia and Reid
Questions:
1. If you came to the Fair, what games did you play? What was your favorite?
2. If you did not come to the Fair, name a game you've played at a carnival before that uses force to make motion.
