Where is your favorite place to read a good book?
What is your favorite number? Is it even or odd? Is it greater than or less than 50?

This morning, we read the morning away in celebration of everyone turning in reading calendars for the month of August! We loved spreading out and diving into our books. We loved it! Jersey Day was a lot of fun! We ordered our jersey numbers from least to greatest. We made number sentences out of our jerseys. It was also fun because we sorted ourselves into even and odd numbers. We also saw a short video about even and odd numbers. We practiced adding and subtracting 1 and 10 to our numbers as well. We have some questions for you!

Hi 2nd Graders! I am Jami's mom and as Jami knows I love to read! I will read almost anything, books, magazines, newspapers and even the back of the cereal box! Reading is so much fun - it lets you explore a world outside of Wyoming and can take you to magical places. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I do!

My favorite place to read is in bed just before bedtime. I like all numbers. I don't have a favorite. I always loved math and still work with numbers at work daily as an accountant. I hope everyone enjoyed read the morning away and read some great books!

My favorite place to read... that is a tough one because I love to read whenever I get the chance. I think my #1 favorite is at the dinner table after I've finished eating, I read aloud to my family. My #2 favorite is in the den when Emmy's Daddy and I read to each other while we take turns playing games on the computer.

So why are there four prongs on a fork and not three? I never thought to wonder that until you just mentioned it, but I'm curious about the answer now.
