Today we learned about a fundraiser that starts today. Our school is selling items in order to raise money for our school. The fundraiser helps us to do things like go on field trips, get more books to read, have assemblies at school and buy some new technology. All these things give us new experiences to learn and grow. We also think they help to inspire us to try new things.
But then we started talking, and one student realized that we already have a lot of things. We know that there are many children who don't have these things or experiences. We talked about different ways that maybe we could help others who need things more than we do. We have started the brainstorming process of figuring out ways we could help others, besides just giving them money. We would love your suggestions!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Holliday's Class
